Tony Elumelu to Receive N1.68 billion as dividend from UBA first half earnings

Billionaire investor Tony Elumelu , Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA), is set to earn a total dividend of N1.68 billion following the bank’s interim payout of 25 kobo per share for the first half of 2025. His direct shareholding will yield approximately N375.4 million, while his indirect holdings will contribute an additional N1.3 billion. The combined payout reinforces Elumelu’s status as one of Nigeria’s most consistent dividend earners. UBA’s latest interim dividend marks a reduction from the record N2.00 per share distributed in the same period of 2024.
