I am Ready for Motherhood With or Without Marriage - Mercy Eke Cries Out

Nigerian sperm donors are currently screaming for joy as reality TV star and media personality Mercy Eke says she is ready to become a mother, even if she is not married. In a recent interview, the former Big Brother Naija winner said she feels fully capable of raising children on her own and is prepared to have up to three children without waiting for marriage. Eke noted that marriage is not a priority for now, adding that she has yet to meet the right partner. “If I get pregnant now, I'm just going to have my baby,” she said, expressing confidence in navigating motherhood independently. She also addressed societal perceptions, arguing that stigma around having children outside marriage often targets people with financial difficulties, a situation she says does not apply to her.
