Famous Nigerian artiste Tiwa Savage has addressed the controversy surrounding her recent remark about being open to becoming a second wife. In a new interview, the 45-year-old artist explained that the statement was not a serious declaration but rather an expression of frustration after a series of failed relationships. “I was a first wife, where did that get me? I got married as the only wife, but here we are,” she said, reflecting on her past marriage. “I’m tired of being heartbroken. Maybe I’m getting it wrong. Maybe I should try being a second wife.” Savage clarified that her comment was made in jest, not as a genuine desire. “It’s not my choice. I don’t want to.
