Cristiano Ronaldo has just smashed yet another record and this one isn’t about goals. The Portuguese legend has officially joined the Billionaire Club, becoming the first footballer in history to do so, according to Bloomberg. Ronaldo’s fortune now a jaw-dropping $1.4 billion has been supercharged by mega-money endorsements, savvy investments, and his record-shattering salary at Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. His latest deal alone? A staggering $400 million, all tax-free. The 40-year old superstar, who conquered Europe with Manchester United, Real Madrid, and Juventus, has now conquered the financial world too. The Bloomberg Billionaires Index lists Ronaldo’s wealth for the first time, counting $550 million in career salaries, plus a treasure chest of sponsorships including his decade long partnership with Nike, worth around $18 million a year. Emirates Stadium Attendance: 60,223 Arsenal  dealt a blow to Manchester United's hopes of a top-four Premier League finish as Nuno Tavares, Bukayo Saka and Granit Xhaka struck in a 3-1 win on Saturday that revived the home side's chances of Champions League football next season. Saka doubled the Gunners' lead from the penalty spot after a foul on the winger in the build-up to a strike by Eddie Nketiah that went in but was ruled out as offside by the video assistant referee (VAR).  United's sluggish display overshadowed fleeting moments in which they threatened and was another reminder of the challenge facing incoming manager Erik ten Hag, though the visitors got one back as Cristiano Ronaldo swept in Nemanja Matic's cross.

Chicago drill rapper Devonsha Collier, known as THF Bayzoo and an associate of Lil Durk, was fatally shot this past weekend in Little Village, Chicago, authorities said. Collier, 35, was struck around 3 p.m. Saturday on the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue. Two other men, ages 39 and 42, were also injured. Collier was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead early Sunday. Police have ruled the case a homicide. No suspects were in custody as of Monday. Video allegedly showing the attack surfaced on social media shortly after the shooting. Collier was previously acquitted in a 2009 murder case after being arrested in 2014 at rapper Lil Durk’s Orland Park home. He was found not guilty in 2017. Share this story

U.S. President Donald Trump on Saturday said he has directed the Pentagon to prepare plans for potential military action in Nigeria, escalating his claims that the Nigerian government is not doing enough to curb the persecution of Christians in the country. Lagos Socialite, Pretty Mike Arrested by NDLEA over Drug Themed Party

" The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has detained popular Lagos socialite and nightclub proprietor, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, known as Pretty Mike, following a raid on his Victoria Island establishment where a suspected drug-themed party was taking place. The operation targeted Proxy Nightclub at 7 Akin Adesola Street in the early hours of Sunday, October 26th. According to an NDLEA statement by its Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the agency had received intelligence about the nature of the event and sent undercover operatives into the venue from 11 pm on Saturday. The gathering was subsequently disrupted around 3 am on Sunday morning, in line with the agency’s Standard Operating Procedures. Over 100 individuals were taken into custody for screening, including Pretty Mike, who was identified as the club's owner. United States Revokes Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka's Visa

Nigerian Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka on Tuesday disclosed that the United States has revoked his visa, effectively barring him from entering the country for the time being. Speaking during a media session at Kongi’s Harvest Gallery in Freedom Park, Lagos, Soyinka said he was shocked by the development, stressing that he was unaware of any action that could have triggered the decision. “I felt it necessary to call this conference so those in the United States expecting me for engagements don't waste their time,” he said. “I have no visa; I am banned, obviously, from the United States. And if you want to see me, you know where to find me.” Soyinka previously held permanent residency in the U.S., but relinquished his green card in 2016 in protest against the election of former President Donald Trump.
