Atlanta-based rapper who was referred to as ‘a true voice for his city and inspiration to the community he proudly served’ was shot dead after a night of partying. Mariel Semonte Orr, who went by the monikers Trouble and Skoob, was 34 years old when he was shot dead. According to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department, Trouble was shot dead at an apartment complex in Conyers, 25 miles outside of Atlanta, at 3.20am on Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene, Trouble was found lying on the ground outside of the apartment building with a gunshot wound to the chest, according to Jedidia Canty, the public information officer with the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department. Canty said that Trouble was shot inside the apartment building. No arrests have been made in the fatal shooting. Grammy Award-winning rapper Young Thug was arrested Monday at his Atlanta home after being named in a sweeping indictment centered on Young Slime Life, which prosecutors say is a criminal street gang co-founded by the artist. DaBaby  is facing criminal charges for a beatdown a man claims he suffered for trying to stop the rapper's entourage from shooting a music video on his property. According to TMZ , the rapper has been charged with felony battery by the L.A . Pooh Shiesty , the 22-year-old rapper born Lontrell Dennell Williams, Jr., has been sentenced to five years in prison for his Florida gun conspiracy conviction in Miami Federal Court.  In January, Shiesty pleaded guilty to one federal charge of conspiracy to possess a firearm in furtherance of violent and drug-trafficking crimes. The rapper originally faced a total of four charges, but three charges that could have resulted in a life-in-prison sentence were dropped.  The charges stemmed from an October 2020 incident near Miami, where Shiesty was accused of participating in a robbery where two men were shot and injured.  Shiesty’s plea deal allowed for a sentence of up to eight years and one month in prison, according to his lawyer.
