The decision was taken at the party’s national convention in Ibadan, where a motion moved by Bode George and seconded by Bauchi PDP Chairman Samaila Buga was adopted through a voice vote.
Others removed include factional chairman Mohammed Abdulrahman; Imo PDP Chairman Austine Nwachukwu; Abia Chairman Amah Nnanna; South-South Zonal Secretary Turnah George; National Organising Secretary Umaru Bature; National Legal Adviser Kamaldeen Ajibade; factional BoT chairman Mao Ohuabunwa; and Edo PDP leader Dan Orbih.
The expulsion notice, posted on the party’s official X handle, marks a fresh escalation of the PDP’s long-running internal crisis, particularly around figures aligned with Mr Wike.
