YouTube to pay $24.5 million to settle President Trump's Lawsuit

YouTube has become the final major social media company to resolve a lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump over his suspension from online platforms. 

The other companies involved in similar litigation were Meta and Twitter, now operating as X.

As part of the settlement, the Alphabet-owned platform agreed to pay $24.5 million. Of that amount, $22 million will go to the nonprofit Trust for the National Mall, an organization described in court documents as being “dedicated to restoring, preserving, and elevating the National Mall, in support of the construction of the White House State Ballroom.”

The Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Oduh . Vince Zampella , the influential co-creator of the Call of Duty franchise and founder of Respawn Entertainment, was killed Sunday 12/21/25 in a high-speed, single-car accident in the San Gabriel Mountains.
