MacKenzie Scott, ex wife of Amazon founder, Jeff Bezos is making another huge donation with no strings attached.



MacKenzie Scott has pledged another major unrestricted gift, this time, $70 million to historically Black colleges and universities

The donation by Scott, whose net worth is currently valued to be around $34 billion, is set to reshape the financial future of 37 historically HBCUs (historically Black colleges and universities), as part of a $1 billion campaign.

The gift is one of Scott’s largest single donations ever, over the past 5 years, she’s given away $19 billion in gifts to more than 2,000 nonprofits.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Oduh . The United States has announced a partial suspension of the issuance of certain visas to Nigerian nationals, effective from January 1, 2026, following a new presidential proclamation on border and national security.
