Nigerian streamer Peller attempts Su!c!de over breakup with Robot girlfriend [WATCH]

Nigerian streamer Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller intentionally crashed his custom-wrapped Mercedes-Benz SUV on Sunday while live on Instagram, amid a breakup with his robot ex girlfriend Jarvis. 

Bystanders pulled the visibly distressed teenager from the wreckage and rushed him to a hospital. As of Sunday, there had been no official update on his condition.

The couple’s on-again, off-again relationship has previously attracted public attention, and Jarvis later shared her emotional distress on social media following the incident.

The crash has sparked widespread reactions online, with many raising concerns about mental health and the dangers of livestreaming during emotional distress. Others questioned the risks posed to other road users, with some calling for legal action.

Charlie Javice , the 33-year-old founder of the startup Frank , was sentenced Monday to more than seven years in prison after being convicted of defrauding JPMorgan Chase out of $175 million . JPMorgan Chase bank bought her student loan start-up, but later discovered the numbers were falsified. A Manhattan federal court jury found in March that Javice had grossly inflated the company’s customer numbers, creating fake records that claimed Frank had over 4 million users when the real figure was fewer than 300,000.  Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein, who handed down the sentence, described her actions in the summer of 2021 as “a large fraud” aimed at deceiving the banking giant.
