The chaos in the Nwoko household, seems to have seriously escalated as Actress Sonia Ogala claims Regina Daniels brother Sammy West is being detained & prosecuted illegally by Regina's estranged husband Senator Ned Nwoko.

In this video, Sarah Ogala claims Regina's Mum who is currently in Abuja fainted earlier, while Regina Daniels has locked herself up in her room & is threatening suicide. 

She can also be heard saying everyone is scared of Ned Nwoko and no one seems to know why.

In other news, it's being reported that Senator Ned Nwoko is adamant on Regina returning to her matrimonial home before he releases her brother.

At this point, I feel Regina's friends & family should intervene and make sure she doesn't hurt herself.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Oduh . During Thursday’s plenary, presided over by Speaker Martins Amaewhule and broadcast live on Channels Television, the House Majority Leader, Major Jack, read out a notice of allegations and gross misconduct against the governor. The notice, signed by 26 lawmakers, cited breaches of the Nigerian Constitution. Speaker Amaewhule stated that the notice would be formally served on Governor Fubara within seven days. Eminent Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has alleged medical negligence in the death of her 21-month-old son, Nkanu Nnamdi, who passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.  Adichie’s media team confirmed to ARISE News on Saturday that the author penned a detailed statement of the incident, which was originally shared privately with family and close friends before becoming public. Court grants former AGF Malami, Wife & Son 1.5 Billion Naira Bail

Justice Emeka Nwite of the Federal High Court in Abuja on Wednesday granted bail to the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abdulaziz Malami , his wife, and his son. Each defendant was admitted to bail in the sum of ₦500 million, accompanied by stringent conditions intended to ensure their appearance for trial. The court's decision follows Malami’s period in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he has been held since December 8.
