Arsenal's star forward, Bukayo Saka has announced his engagement to long-time girlfriend Tolami Benson in a joint instagram post. The 24-year-old England international proposed during a romantic evening at a luxury hotel in London.

Saka and Benson, a senior planning executive, are believed to have begun their relationship in 2020 and have largely kept it private. Despite their low profile, the couple shared a series of elegant black-and-white photographs on social media to mark the occasion. One image prominently displayed the engagement ring, while others captured the pair relaxing in a high-end hotel setting.

The couple, both 24, have maintained a discreet online presence over the years, avoiding public posts together and not following each other on Instagram.

The Rivers State House of Assembly has commenced impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Oduh . Each defendant was admitted to bail in the sum of ₦500 million, accompanied by stringent conditions intended to ensure their appearance for trial. The court's decision follows Malami’s period in the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where he has been held since December 8. His detention followed a reported failure to satisfy administrative bail terms previously established by the commission. The United States has announced a partial suspension of the issuance of certain visas to Nigerian nationals, effective from January 1, 2026, following a new presidential proclamation on border and national security. In a statement issued on Monday, the US Mission in Nigeria said the restriction will take effect at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on January 1, 2026, in line with Presidential Proclamation 10998, titled “Restricting and Limiting the Entry of Foreign Nationals to Protect the Security of the United States.” Nigeria is among 19 countries affected by the measure. Vince Zampella , the influential co-creator of the Call of Duty franchise and founder of Respawn Entertainment, was killed Sunday 12/21/25 in a high-speed, single-car accident in the San Gabriel Mountains. He was 55 years. The crash occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. on a scenic stretch of road north of Los Angeles.
