Best Nnanyereugo aka 'Killaboi' & his Late Girlfriend Augusta Onuwabhagbe Osedion aka 'Austa'.
In July 2023, a rumor was brewing that Nigerian Punter Killaboi had murdered his girlfriend, Austa, a student of Lead City University at the time.
Just few days leading to the murder, Benjamin 'Killaboi' Best had been on a Gambling Streak posting his winnings of the grand prize of a NGN100,000,000 and couple of other Millions of Naira which he won from the Nigerian Bookie 'Sportybet' on Social Media.
Life was going really good for Benjamin who had just purchased a Lamborghini Urus¡
It came as a shock when Killaboi himself came on social media to confess to the Murder of his girlfriend Austa in a series of Instagram posts.
He described the incident as a case of self defense saying he and Austa got into a heated argument (and apparently was not the first time) and Austa picked up a knife to stab him but his quick reflexes avoided her and in a moment of perplexity he overpowered her and used the same knife to stab her killing her instantly.
The tone and words used in the confession by Killaboi suggested he was remorseful and willing to turn himself to the authorities, but what happened next came as a shock to many.

THE ESCAPE
After the murder and confession by Killaboi, he apparently escaped to Sierra Leone.
Benjamin liquidated his assets in Nigeria and fled to Sierra Leone.
“After committing the act, he spent over $25,000 purchasing a Sierra Leonean passport,” Eniola Akinkuotu, a Nigerian journalist, claimed on X.
“He changed his name to Kanu Princeton Samuel. His photo had been posted on social media by the girl’s family. Someone in Sierra Leone identified him. Mr Femi Falana was contacted and informed Lagos police which declared him wanted. He was nabbed at a night club in Free Town yesterday (Friday).
Austa's Mother, Cordelia Okonye also came on social media to solicit help in getting justice for her daughter.
Austa's brother on the other hand was working in the background to aid the capture of Killaboi. He posted the following on social media at the time
I’ve spent the last week in Freetown, Sierra Leone. We were in contact with the Law Enforcement Agencies in Sierra Leone to set up ways to apprehend Ben. We knew where he slept, we knew where he ate, we trailed him until they were able apprehend him last night.
The Unthinkable happened again after this, Killaboi escaped from Sierra Leonian Authorities.

THE RECAPTURE
Killaboi now ' Kanu Princeton' fled to Doha Qatar after he escaped Sierra Leonean Authorities and was apparently living his best life in Doha, partying on yachts and clubbing.
While in Doha, he was spotted few times by people who could recognise him from photos posted online. It didn't take too long for Qatari Authorities to nab him.
Online publications state that Killaboi has recently been Extradited back to Nigeria. Is this the end of the road for Killaboi or do you think he has something else up his sleeves?
