FRSC Officer & her Daughter who were declared missing found Dead with bodies Mutilated¡

An officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, and her young daughter, Sewa, who were declared missing on November 2, have been found dead in the home of a suspected herbalist in Osun State.

Lasisi, 39, left her residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, with her daughter on Sunday but could not be reached thereafter. A missing-person report was filed at the Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on November 5.

Family sources confirmed over the weekend that the bodies of the officer and her child were recovered from a suspected ritual den in an undisclosed Osun community. Parts of the remains were reportedly mutilated.

Police have arrested the herbalist’s wife, while the prime suspect is said to be on the run, prompting a statewide manhunt. Investigators suspect ritual motives but say inquiries are ongoing.

The discovery has thrown the FRSC community in Abeokuta and residents of the victims’ neighbourhood into mourning.

Police have urged the public to provide information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing suspect.

Paystack fires co-founder Ezra Olubi amid sexual misconduct controversy

Olubi announced the firing in a blog post on Saturday, November 23, 2025, saying that the decision came before the company’s investigation was complete.
