Rapper Young Thug arrested on Gang-Related & RICO Charges, Gunna Indicted.....

Grammy Award-winning rapper Young Thug was arrested Monday at his Atlanta home after being named in a sweeping indictment centered on Young Slime Life, which prosecutors say is a criminal street gang co-founded by the artist.


Grammy winner accused of renting car used in deadly drive-by shooting, among other alleged crimes





According to the indictment, Williams along with 27 associates of the enterprise Young Slime Life, "conspired to associate together and with others for the common purposes of illegally obtaining money and property through a pattern of racketeering activity and conducting and participating in the enterprise through a pattern of racketeering activity."Among Williams' alleged associates named in the indictment is fellow rapper Gunna, whose real name is Sergio Kitchens.


Kitchens has also been charged with conspiracy to violate RICO, according to the indictment. As of Tuesday morning, Kitchens was not in police custody, police said.

In the indictment, prosecutors said Williams along with two other defendants founded the gang YSL in late 2012 and claimed to have affiliations with the national Bloods gang. 

Other alleged members of the YSL enterprise are accused of violent offenses in the indictment, including murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and armed robbery. The alleged offenses date back as early as 2013.

Chicago drill rapper Devonsha Collier, known as THF Bayzoo and an associate of Lil Durk, was fatally shot this past weekend in Little Village, Chicago, authorities said. Collier, 35, was struck around 3 p.m. Saturday on the 3100 block of South St. Louis Avenue. Two other men, ages 39 and 42, were also injured. Collier was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead early Sunday. Police have ruled the case a homicide. No suspects were in custody as of Monday. Video allegedly showing the attack surfaced on social media shortly after the shooting. Collier was previously acquitted in a 2009 murder case after being arrested in 2014 at rapper Lil Durk’s Orland Park home. He was found not guilty in 2017. Share this story

Lagos Socialite, Pretty Mike Arrested by NDLEA over Drug Themed Party

" The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has detained popular Lagos socialite and nightclub proprietor, Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, known as Pretty Mike, following a raid on his Victoria Island establishment where a suspected drug-themed party was taking place. The operation targeted Proxy Nightclub at 7 Akin Adesola Street in the early hours of Sunday, October 26th. According to an NDLEA statement by its Director, Media & Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, the agency had received intelligence about the nature of the event and sent undercover operatives into the venue from 11 pm on Saturday. The gathering was subsequently disrupted around 3 am on Sunday morning, in line with the agency’s Standard Operating Procedures. United States Revokes Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka's Visa

Nigerian Nobel laureate Professor Wole Soyinka on Tuesday disclosed that the United States has revoked his visa, effectively barring him from entering the country for the time being. Speaking during a media session at Kongi’s Harvest Gallery in Freedom Park, Lagos, Soyinka said he was shocked by the development, stressing that he was unaware of any action that could have triggered the decision. “I felt it necessary to call this conference so those in the United States expecting me for engagements don't waste their time,” he said. “I have no visa; I am banned, obviously, from the United States.
